During a residency in Waskaganish, where I was invited to share the art of zines with students, the teacher and I became fast friends and decided to make a zine together.

An animal lover, Gabriel wanted to write an allegory for some of the troubles our world is facing, and we quickly turned to sea horses. This story follows a pair of them into a new landscape, where they have to adapt and face the menacing groupers… A story for all ages, lovingly illustrated by yours truly - sea horses take a long time to draw properly, but I had a blast! Created using colour crayons on frosted mylar. Hand bound and beaded by me!
